Aggies Claim Two Tickets to World Cup

At the Southwest Regional Championship both teams (Texas A&M and Silver Phoenixes) punched their ticket to North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for World Cup VII

This tournament is the International Quidditch Association's most prestigious tournament and will feature 80 teams from around the United States, Canada, and Australia.  Over the course of two days teams will compete in four pool play games to fight for a spot in the 32-team single elimination bracket, and ultimately the title of World Cup Champions. 

Sixteen pools of five teams will be selected on March 17th so stay tuned to see who the Aggies will face at World Cup.

Intramural Games

Today's games were cancelled due to the inclement weather conditions but intramural games will continue as scheduled following Spring Break! Everyone stay safe and be smart over break!


Sunday intramurals take place on Simpson Drill Field at 3 pm.  Be sure to check the facebook and twitter the day of for specific information regarding that day's games.

Texas A&M Wins Southwest Regional


Both the Silver Phoenixes (JV) and Texas A&M (Varsity) travelled to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the Southwest Regional Tournament on February 22nd and 23rd.

The Southwest Regional tournament featrured 20 teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Colorado, and Louisiana.

After defeating Lone Star Quidditch Club in the finals match 140*-40 the Aggies took home the Regional Championship trophy for the first time! During the consolation bracket the Silver Phoenixes defeated the University of Houston to secure a bid to World Cup VII.


World Cup VII will take place in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on April 5-6th and feature 80 teams from around the U.S. Canada and Australia! Check out the World Cup website for more information!

Intercollegiate Practices

Practices take place on Penberthy Intramural Fields Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.
